Today, one of the urgent problems in general medical practice is the prevalence of insufficiently recognized neurotic and somatized mental disorders. The current state of the problem of psychosomatic disorders is primarily due to the lack of unified comprehensive criteria for separating psychosomatic and neurotic disorders from psychological phenomena. In practice, it is not uncommon for internists to manage patients with somatoform and somatized disorders. This problem is of serious importance, because "masked" mental pathology leads to aggravation of the patient's condition, significant material costs, to the absorption of the doctor's own time costs. Symptoms of psychocognitive content, psychovegetative syndromes become a source and cause of errors in diagnosis, and, as a result, therapy. This article is devoted to the analysis of modern problems of psychosomatic disorders.
Keywords:psychosomatics, somatopsychosocial interactions, somatic disorders, masked depressions, functional disorders.
