In this article, the author formulates an original concept of creative doing based on the anthropological principle. The relevance of the presented concept is connected with the importance of developing in higher school students the desire for a holistic harmonious personality and a creative attitude in relation to oneself and the surrounding reality. The concept of creative doing proposed by the author is broader than the concepts of creativity developed by many researchers. The concept of creative doing consists of four points: 1) creation of oneself (self-knowledge by a person, "self-creation"); 2) building his own business (realization of one's values and goals in his work); 3) building a family and raising children; 4) historiosophy and the creation of culture (understanding of each person's place in the historical and cultural context). The concept of creative doing is the life-building attitude of every person, not just people of creative professions. The concept of creative doing in the philosophy of S.N. Bulgakov is reconstructed based on the texts of his philosophical works. The author compares the ideas of S.N. Bulgakov in relation to the concept of creative doing with the ideas of other Russian philosophers (V.S. Solovyov, P.A. Florensky, S.L. Frank, I.A. Ilyin). As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that S.N. Bulgakov saw the task of man's earthly life in his comprehension of his Sophia prototype and its creative embodiment in concrete historical conditions. Overcoming the antinomian nature of man's historical existence and his co-creation with God is possible with the gracious help of God, transmitted in the church sacraments. Every person is called to holiness and deification in spite of the antinomian nature of historical existence. In conclusion, the conclusion is made about the relevance of S.N. Bulgakov's historical optimism, which calls for the bravery of personal creative doing despite the eschatological tragedy of history.
