PECULIARITIES OF INTERPRETATION OF THE TERM "FESTIVAL" IN RUSSIAN AND CHINESE SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE

To study the culture of Russia and China, the process of communication between the countries is important. Of particular importance is the analysis of the interpretation of cultural phenomena. The festival is a global concept that has its own specific definitions in different countries. Based on the analysis of Russian and Chinese studies, an attempt is made to summarize the basic definitions of the concept of "festival" that exist in China and Russia in order to study the peculiarities of perception of this cultural phenomenon.
