THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE BURYAT CHRONICLE HERITAGE

This article discusses the theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the Buryat chronicle heritage in the modern world. The author proves that, along with traditional linguistic, literary, translational approaches, it is necessary to apply protection-legal, informational and semiotic approaches. According to the researcher, these approaches are relevant in the context of the partial loss of the language and the growing interest in the cultural heritage of peoples. These approaches will help in the study of the chronicles as a resource for updating the heritage for the reproduction of culture, as well as to ensure a balance between the traditional knowledge of the Buryats and modern conceptual searches for meanings.
