LOCUS OF CONTROL AS A FACTOR IN THE MANIFESTATION OF CONSUMER PANIC

Consumer panic is a phenomenon that regularly occurs in modern society in response to various threats and crises. This note explores the role of the locus of control, a psychological concept describing the individual perception of control over events, as a factor influencing the manifestation of consumer panic. The locus of control can be an important predictor of consumers' reactions to crisis situations, determining how they perceive and react to threats to their well-being.
