The article highlights the problems of psychological well-being of elderly people in connection with professional and family status in the information space of modern society. It is shown that the information society is characterized by information threats that affect the level of information and psychological security and psychological well-being of the individual in the elderly. The relevance of the study is substantiated, the purpose of which is to study the relationship between ideas about psychological well-being and professional, labor and family status among elderly people. The results of the study are presented, according to which there is a relationship between ideas about psychological well-being and professional and family status among older people in the space of risks of information exposure. It has been shown that the leading factor in the information influence of the Internet in a group of elderly family members is activity on the Internet. In the group of lonely elderly people, the leading factor of influence is the manipulative influence of the Internet. Elderly families and working people are characterized by a high level of psychological safety. Elderly people who do not have a job and family are more often exposed to the risks of information exposure on the Internet. The higher the level of psychological well-being in older people, regardless of family and professional status, the higher the resistance to stress to the negative information impact of the Internet. The higher the emotional discomfort in older people, regardless of family and professional status, the higher the experience of life dissatisfaction, the lower the stress resistance to the negative information impact of the Internet.
