WORKS OF COMPOSERS OF THE “SILVER AGE” THROUGH JUNG’S CONCEPT OF THE COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS

The article presents a philosophical analysis of the music of the “Silver Age” through the prism of Jung’s teachings about the collective unconscious. Music is considered as an archetypal given, carrying a sacred meaning, as a way of a special existential perception of the world, helping an individual to spiritually evolve. The musical thinking of the composers of the “Silver Age” is substantiated through mythological and religious value systems, which most clearly manifest archetypal foundations.
