The article examines the main ideas of V.S. Solovyov on the essence and content of cultural policy processes that influence the socio-cultural reality, as well as their interpretation in the context of current problems of culture and society. Cultural policy is considered as one of the ways to preserve and develop national heritage, form identity and ensure access to cultural values. The appeal to V.S. Solovyov's philosophical system contributes to understanding the role of national identity and spiritual unity in shaping cultural policy.
