EFFECTIVENESS OF PROFESSIONAL COSMETOLOGICAL CARE ON IMPROVING SELF-ESTEEM AND REDUCING THE LEVEL OF DEPRESSION

The article examines the conditions for the effectiveness of professional cosmetology care for patients experiencing psychological manifestations of the age-related crisis of adulthood, including low self-esteem and high levels of depression. The specificity of individual psychological characteristics and crisis characteristics of patients seeking cosmetology help is described. The factors of social influence and other motivational conditions that determine the demand for cosmetology products are revealed. The need for psychological support for patients at a cosmetology clinic is substantiated. Recommendations have been developed for optimizing the activities of a cosmetologist and ensuring an integrated approach to restoring both the physical and psychological health of the patient.
