The aim of the study is to identify the features of the perception of psychological time in people with addictive behavior. The article presents the results of a study on this problem of people with alcohol and drug addiction. This topic is little studied, especially by domestic scientists, so the results of empirical research are very significant. The findings suggest that addictions do distort the perception of psychological time. Dependent people perceive the past with a negative emotional coloring, which affects the perception of the present and future.
