The article discusses modern theoretical approaches and practical achievements in the problem of professional development of the organization's personnel. The relevance of the topic of this article is related to the fact that modern organizations must actively invest in the development of their staff, striving to ensure a high level of competence and professionalism. Effective adaptation to changing conditions requires a systematic approach to staff development and expansion of their professional skills. Every organization needs to take care of the development of its employees, who play an important role in shaping future strategies. Qualified employees are able to analyze potential risks and find non-standard solutions for new challenges. The formation of a friendly and creative team is recognized as a key competitive advantage in the market. A systematic approach to staff development is aimed at achieving a high level of professionalism and developing creative abilities. The purpose of this article is to determine the characteristics of the development of personnel in a modern organization. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve problems related to the study of theoretical approaches to personnel development as a direction of personnel policy, as well as to consider the practical achievements of the development process within the framework of the personnel management system. The methods used in writing the article are aimed at achieving strategic goals and effective personnel management. The methods chosen are the analysis of literary sources, systematization, deductive and systematic methods. The theoretical significance of the article consists in the use of research that reveals the peculiarities of personnel development. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that the development process plays a key role in achieving the goals of the organization and includes the processes of training, professional development and professional skills development. This is a fact confirmed by research highlighting the importance of investing in staff development for the prosperity of the organization. The result of writing the article is that it allows you to understand the importance of competencies that staff can acquire in the development process for the professional performance of their duties in a modern organization.
