THE MODERN DEVELOPMENT OF CHINESE LANDSCAPE THEATER

The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the Chinese landscape theater. The current stage of the development of landscape theater in China is shown through the analysis of the four most famous outdoor performances in different cities of China. The author reveals the main tasks of such representations as parts of the tourist services market: to «activate» history, folklore, intangible cultural heritage and others, to actualize humanistic ideals so that tourists can experience the pleasure of being in a natural and artificial landscape. When considering the most famous productions in China, the technical, technological, scenic, environmental and logistical features of the organization of performances are considered.
