PSYCHOLOGY OF ATTITUDES: REVIEW OF MODERN FOREIGN STUDIES

The article considers three areas of modern attitude research: the structure of attitudes, their interrelationships with intrapsychic formations and the human social environment, and the influence of attitudes on human behavior. The influence of the structural features of attitudes on their stability and resistance to impact is analyzed. There are two main approaches to studying the influence of attitudes on human behavior: individual-oriented and aggregated. Significant factors in this regard have been identified: the type of attitude, the nature of the behavioral act and its context.
