The article reveals an urgent problem of providing psychological assistance to children from refugee families for their successful social adaptation in the host society. The research goal is to summarize the existing Russian and foreign experience in this area. The research objectives are to describe the main psychological problems faced by children from refugee families, to analyze the scientific literature on the topic of research and generalize approaches to providing assistance to children from families Refugees.
The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes the methods of the general scientific group (analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison), as well as a number of special methods: historiographical analysis of scientific literature on the topic under study; a descriptive analysis of the current experience in providing psychological assistance to refugee children in Russia and abroad, as well as methods of scientific generalization.
As a result, the author of the article came to the following conclusion: both in Russia and abroad, psychological assistance to children from refugee families is based on their needs and the need to level psychological traumas and correct disorders. In Russia, psychologists and special institutions are mainly involved in this process, and abroad such support is also provided by volunteers, local communities and supranational bodies.
