DIGITAL HUMANITIES AND A CONVERGENT APPROACH

Thesis analyzes the current scientific direction, often referred to as Digital Humanities. The price question is whether we can consider the Digital Humanities approach a discipline in itself. The paper offers a brief overview of Digital Humanities and its basic definitions, identifies the basic features and characteristics of the field, describes the current framework and range of disciplines that served as the basis for its development.
