THE INFLUENCE OF BIOLOGY ON THE UNDERSTANDING OF ART AND POWER IN ANCIENT ROME: THE ROLE OF DOPAMINE AND NOVELTY

This text explores the relationship between biology and literature, emphasizing the importance of dopamine, the information-speech model of the world and novelty for understanding the processes of thinking and creation. The main idea of the text is that progress and conservatism in Ancient Rome were interconnected, and power was determined by the ability to control the level of dopamine in society. By creating emotional cocktails and controlling emotions, the Romans could ensure the stability of society. Additionally, the text reveals the importance of empathy, novelty and responsibility for the formation of personality and leaders. The text also emphasizes the importance of humanity, evolutionary change and continuous development for society.
