The article is devoted to the study of the place of legal culture in public consciousness based on an interdisciplinary approach combining jurisprudence, sociology and psychology. The work examines the historiological aspects of the formation and development of ideas about legal culture in society, assesses the current state of the issue and puts forward proposals for improving the system of educating the legal consciousness of citizens.
Legal culture is an integral part of public life and has a significant impact on the formation of legal consciousness and behavior of people. It is a set of legal knowledge, beliefs, values and norms that determine society’s attitude to the law and its implementation. Legal culture plays a key role in the development of the rule of law and civil society, ensuring respect for the law and human rights, as well as promoting law-abiding behavior.
The article analyzes the main characteristics and functions of legal culture, as well as factors influencing its formation. Author pays particular attention to the role of legal culture in the system of public values and its importance for strengthening law and order. The problems associated with the low level of legal culture in modern society are also considered, and author proposes measures to improve it.
