The article considers the development of professionally significant personal qualities of young specialists in the process of career design. The components of the career space are presented. The factors influencing the development of professionally significant personal qualities of young specialists are determined. It is determined that the formation and development of professionally significant personal qualities of a young specialist should be carried out through career guidance and career counseling, organizing counseling on personal growth issues and choosing an individual career path. The model of career design for young specialists is presented. It is noted that one of the effective methods of consulting at this stage is training programs for building a professional career. It is concluded that the development of professionally significant personal qualities of a young specialist is possible at different levels (university, employer, personal level of an individual), as well as in the process of their joint interaction. The most effective methods are consulting, practical activities within the framework of the career design model.
