This article is devoted to the study of changes in the competitive strategy of behavior in conflict among students in the context of the wingwave method. The results of an empirical study of behavior strategies in conflict, the level of conflict, and some conflict characteristics of the individual are presented. During the study, a diagnostic tool based on the Thomas-Kilman conflict model, the "Personal Aggressiveness and Conflict" technique (E.P. Ilyin, P.A. Kovalev), and the Wilcoxon T-test mathematical processing method were used. The article considers the possibility of reducing competitive behavior in students using the wingwave method, aimed at working with triggers and stress imprints. The results confirmed the effectiveness of the wingwave method in reducing the competitive strategy of behavior in conflict.
Keywords:conflict, competitive behavior strategy, bilateral stimulation, stress imprints.
