The article examines the proactive practices of personal self-realization of Russian youth in the digital environment. The theoretical provisions of the study are substantiated by empirical data that were obtained as a result of a massive online survey of students studying at universities in Kazan. The article presents the main areas of digital prosumerism that are of interest to students from the perspective of personal growth and self-realization. Based on the survey results, the authors conducted an exposition of prosumerism as a digital space in which representatives of modern Russian youth form and express their identity through the activities of "produsage" and communication related to this activity.
