The article presents the results of the application of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy techniques to correct eating habits in adult patients with moderate to moderate severity of eating disorders. The methods of identifying maladaptive skills of self-regulation of eating behavior and their correction by teaching respondents the skills of analyzing and correcting eating behavior, its components, determinants and features of reinforcement in the conditions of ordinary life of respondents are considered. The empirical data obtained allow us to give an objective assessment of the cognitive behavioral techniques used in the practice of correcting the eating habits of adults. The practical application of research-proven methods and techniques can contribute to the prevention of certain diseases and other nutritional conditions. The research materials enrich the theory and practice of nutritionology and can be useful for specialists in the field of correction of eating disorders.
