The relevance of this study is determined by the fact that at present, of particular interest are studies of an individual's behavior in crisis situations, which is primarily associated with the increase in stress factors of professional activity, which are also superimposed by factors of the external social environment that affect the mental state and social health of an individual. The methodology of this study is based on a systematic understanding of the problem associated with the existence of a relationship between women's professional behavior and crisis situations, which are an objective factor of human existence. The following methods were used in this work: analysis of scientific literature in which this issue is studied; generalization of scientific facts and data provided in primary sources; classification of various aspects that determine the professional behavior of women in conditions of a life crisis. In this work, the author proposes a definition of "professional burnout of women under the influence of crisis life circumstances", defines a model of mental burnout of female workers that affects the success of professional activity in conditions of life crises. It is concluded that professional activity for a woman can become both a powerful factor in revealing internal potential and personal development, a source of motivation and emotional and psychological support, and a source of psychotraumatic factors that inevitably negatively affect all aspects of her life. There is no doubt that professional activity has the greatest impact on life situations in which a woman finds herself, determining her psychological and emotional state and her readiness for self-realization in the profession.
