International competition in the field of cinematography is a special form of interaction in the world film market between national and foreign producers in order to ensure better opportunities for the sale of domestic film products abroad, as well as obtaining the greatest profit for business entities of film exhibition while maintaining the originality of domestic cinema and increasing the quality of film products of the national film industry.
The relevance of studying the competitiveness of film studios is to assess what factors influence the activities of film companies and what characteristics distinguish a truly strong film company from a weak one. This aspect is important for producers when choosing a project.
The purpose of the article is to analyze the competitiveness of the main European film studios and directions for improving its level.
The practical significance of the study is that identifying the most competitive film studios will allow the producer to produce his project with the lowest production costs and make his project the most profitable.
