THE PLACE OF OBSERVATION IN THE SYSTEM OF SCIENTIFIC METHODS

The article discusses the system of scientific methods and the place of observation as a method in this system. A number of modern approaches to the systematization of scientific methodology are noted and, using the example of the most developed approaches by V.P. Kohanovsky and V.S. Stepin, the interrelation of these methods with the observation method is considered. Based on the analysis of this interrelationship, a conclusion is drawn about the key links of the observation method with other methods and, as a result, the logically determined place of the observation method in the structure of scientific methodology is noted. The article is one of the elements of the development of the methodology of observation and allows, then, to move on to a more accurate description of it.
