The relevance of this article is explained by the fact that the modern development of technical activities has undesirable social consequences in all areas of our lives. In this situation, special studies of the mechanisms of its development become necessary. The author shows the role of culture in the development of norms and values that ensure the possibility of directing the development of technical activities, which guarantees the reliability and predictability of its results.
