PECULIARITIES OF MINDFULNESS IN INDIVIDUALS PRONE TO COMPUTER ADDICTION

The article is devoted to the theoretical and empirical study results of the awareness features in people prone to computer addiction, conducted on the basis of the Southern Federal University with students who are fond of computer games. At the level of theoretical analysis, the relevance of the topic of the development of awareness is justified, as the basis for the development of a person and his personality and as the prevention of the emergence of dependent behavior. Significant correlations between the level of computer addiction severity and the factors of mindfulness have been established. It is shown that as the computer addiction indicators increase, the main indicators of mindfulness decrease. The results obtained for each of the indicators are analyzed. Differences in the indicators of personal reflection in students who are addicted to computer games and those who are not addicted to computer games, and their connection with the degree of computer addiction, manifested in the tendency to quasi-reflection as a method of self-knowledge and evaluation of their actions, are revealed.
