POLITICAL STRUGGLE: CONCEPT, ESSENCE, PSYCHOLOGICAL COMPONENT

Despite the fact that the phrase «political struggle» is known to almost everyone from one context or another, the real ideas about what is political struggle are not fully formed even among people involved in this issue and directly involved in it. Often political struggle is equated with political conflict, sometimes it is said that the latter is a special case of the former. Some researchers believe that the concept of political struggle is appropriate only in the context of class theory. It is worth noting that political struggle is not limited to economic confrontation, it is a more complex form of social interaction. This article attempts to systematize existing theoretical approaches to understanding political struggle, as well as some psychological components of its conduct.
