Vedenichkin Dmitry Mikhailovich  (postgraduate student I.A. Bunin Yelets State University )

The article is devoted to the study of the relationship between biomarkers of stress and the progression of cancer, as well as the importance of psychological and oncological support in complex therapy. Modern approaches to the identification of stress biomarkers such as cortisol, alpha-amylase, cytokines and others, their effect on the immune response and metabolic processes that play a key role in the development of tumors are considered. It is emphasized that a high level of stress contributes to a violation of immune homeostasis and can increase inflammatory processes, which, in turn, negatively affects the course of the disease. Important attention is paid to the role of psychological and psychological support, including cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, relaxation practices and group therapy. These methods can reduce stress levels, improve the psychoemotional state of patients and increase their commitment to treatment. Examples of the integration of psycho-oncological methods into standard cancer treatment programs are given. It has been shown that comprehensive psychoanalytic support can not only improve the quality of life of patients, but also contribute to improving clinical outcomes.
