ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER IN THE WORKPLACE

This study is devoted to the problem of maladjustment of employees with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the workplace. Research emphasizes the importance of neurodiversity in the workplace. A review of the literature on the topic showed that difficulties with concentration and motivation in adults with ADHD can affect their professional activity and psychological state. Correlation analysis, regression analysis and methods for measuring ADHD symptoms and occupational health indicators were used. The relationship between ADHD and occupational health was revealed. It is noted that it is necessary to take into account the features of neurodiversity and adapt approaches to working with neuroatypical employees in order to provide them with optimal conditions for professional activity and well-being. A relationship was found between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and occupational health indicators in working adults. A conclusion was made about the need for adaptation skills training programs for employees with ADHD in the workplace, as well as a training program for colleagues and managers of employees with ADHD in order to raise awareness of this issue.
