The article explores the method of social network analysis (SNA) and its application in the field of culture, with a focus on its research potential and practical significance. Using a case study conducted for the V.K. Arseniev Museum-Reserve of the History of the Russian Far East, the advantages of the method are demonstrated for identifying the institution’s connections with other agents in the urban environment and assessing inter-institutional cooperation, as well as for understanding the processes and mechanisms shaping the city’s cultural landscape. The research process is described, including data collection procedures, presentation of network visualization results in the form of a graph, followed by graph analysis and distributional data analysis. The conclusion offers recommendations for the institution and highlights the method’s strong potential for research, strategy development, and optimizing the management of cultural institutions.
