THE HISTORY OF THE FORMATION OF STREET DANCE TRENDS

The aim of this article is to explore the history of the formation of street dance styles. The objectives of the research are to identify the prerequisites for the formation of street dance styles, to explore the historical aspects of the development of street dance, to determine the role of street dance in the global cultural space and in the history of world choreography. Practical significance: the results of the study can be used in applied research on the history of choreography of the twentieth century. As a result of the research, conclusion was made that street dance culture today is a multifaceted phenomenon, consisting of many directions and covering all corners of our planet. It is a global multimillion-dollar industry that widely influences fashion and cinema, and has become an integral part of many people's lives.
