PUPILLOMETRY AS A PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGICAL METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE DEVELOPMENT OF IMPRESSIVE SPEECH IN CHILDREN AGED FOUR TO SEVEN YEARS WITH DELAYED SPEECH DEVELOPMENT (MATERIALS OF PRACTICAL RESEARCH)

Pupillometry is a psychophysiological method for studying pupil reactions and correlating them with brain function. Researchers identify three of the most important eye reactions from a psychophysiological point of view: pupil constriction and dilation, blinking, and eye movements. The pupillary response is of great interest to psychophysiologists, since this function can indicate a significant correlation between impressive speech, mental activity, emotional component and cognitive development, «Theory of Mind».
