This article examines the evolution of practical psychology, highlighting the transition from a technological and utilitarian approach to an integral model based on the spiritual and axiological orientation of the individual. Historical and conceptual analysis shows that psychology, which had long been dominated by reductionist and mechanistic paradigms, gradually integrated humanistic, existential and spiritual dimensions necessary for a comprehensive understanding of man.
Furthermore, the article highlights the limitations of some methodologies based on humanistic and transpersonal approaches, which are often insufficiently scientifically grounded, which necessitates the development of a new paradigm capable of integrating scientific rigor and the spiritual dimension. This new orientation proposes a synthesis between methodological rationalism and contemporary issues related to social, cultural and ethical questions. The aim is to develop conceptual and practical tools that facilitate the construction of harmonious models of behavior based on spiritual ethics and a holistic vision of the individual.
