in the modern conditions of rapid digitalization of society, the study of the features of memory of primary school children is becoming especially relevant. Memory as a fundamental cognitive process that determines the formation of personality and social interactions undergoes significant transformations under the influence of digital technologies. Primary school age is a critical period for the formation of all cognitive processes, and the active introduction of digital devices into the educational process creates new conditions for their development. Understanding the mechanisms of the influence of digital technologies on the formation of memory in children of this age is necessary for the development of effective teaching methods and the creation of optimal conditions for the development of cognitive functions. The purpose of the study: a comprehensive study of the features of memory development in primary school children in the context of the active use of digital technologies. When selecting materials and research methods, we relied on basic theoretical information. Thus, when memorizing, primary school children use various analyzer systems. At this age stage, visual memory predominates, but the conditions of development and the leading type of activity determine the development of verbal and logical memory. The hypothesis was also considered, stating the weak arbitrariness of cognitive processes at this age. The results of the study allowed us to formulate the specifics of the functioning of the memory of younger schoolchildren, considering their immersion in the digital environment.
