The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of social bivalence of creativity, emphasizing its ability to simultaneously have both positive and negative impact on the individual and society. A wide range of consequences of creativity is considered, ranging from spiritual enrichment and personal growth to possible risks associated with psychological instability, social alienation and even global threats, such as the creation of dangerous technologies. The author emphasizes the importance of taking into account the vital orientation of the creative personality, aimed at creation and progress, as well as the need for support of creative individuals by society.
