THE INFLUENCE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STABILITY AND THE CHOICE OF AN ADAPTIVE BEHAVIOR STRATEGY ON THE WILLINGNESS OF DRUG ADDICTS TO REMAIN IN REMISSION

The relationship between the level of psychological stability and pronounced coping strategies with sustained remission in drug addicts or the danger of their recovery from remission is considered. Addicts with high psychological stability have more chances to overcome the crisis events of their lives without returning to drugs. The severity of an independent problem-solving strategy is a predictor of remission sustainability. For those who have come out of remission, an avoidance strategy is more typical. It is necessary to develop rehabilitation programs in line with cognitive behavioral therapy to enhance the identified personality traits.
