THE PROBLEM OF TRUTH IN THE POST-TRUTH ERA: A PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS OF THE TRANSFORMATION OF EPISTEMOLOGY

the article examines the problem of truth in the context of the post-truth era, characterized by the blurring of boundaries between knowledge, opinion, and manipulation. It analyzes the philosophical transformation of the concept of truth as epistemology moves from classical and non-classical models toward a post-nonclassical understanding, in which truth is conceived as a dynamic, communicative, and contextual category. Particular attention is given to the impact of digital media and network communication on the formation of new cognitive practices and criteria of credibility. The study demonstrates that post-truth does not abolish truth but transforms its ontological and epistemological foundations, turning it into a form of interaction and interpretation. The conclusion substantiates the need for a philosophical reconstruction of truth based on the principles of hermeneutics, communication, and critical rationality, which opens up new perspectives for the development of contemporary epistemology in the context of information culture.
