Marriage age and its role in transformation of marriage behaviour of modern youth

In article the main questions connected with marriage behavior are considered; it is shown that transformation of the institution of the family defines changes and in the sphere of the marriage relations, significantly changing an image of marriage behavior of young people. It is claimed that the system of welfare and social and economic features of society exerts impact on marriage behavior of young people. The major factors influencing motivation of the choice of age of consent are defined. The results of a number of empirical researches confirming tendencies among young people on increase in age of marriage both for women, and for men are given. It is established that the existing changes in the family and marriage relations regarding installations towards increase in limit of age of consent play an important role in transformation of marriage behavior, defining, first of all, negative character of the main social and demographic characteristics.
