Socialization And Resocialization After Psychological Trauma

The article describes the perspectives of the socio-psychological approach to psychological trauma as a social fact forcing individuals to learn a new social experience. It is identified acute adaptation, adaptation, institutional and post-institutional periods of socialization and resocialization after psychological trauma which is characterized by uneven depression, posttraumatic stress, and growth dynamics, and correlation with basic assumptions about benevolent and just world.
