To the definition of the subject of psychology in a philosophical–anthropological views of I. A. Chistovich (analysis of «Experimental psychology course»)

Shows the philosophical and anthropological views of I. A. Chistovich in the context of creation of «experimental psychology», which could evolve in accordance with the latest developments in empirical psychology and physiology in the second half of the XIX century, without abandoning the basic principles of theistic anthropology: understanding human beings as Bogovdohnovlennosti, free will, moral ascension, consciousness, the unconscious. Analyzes his work «Course in experimental psychology» (1868), approved on the basis of the opinion of the Ministry of public education (1869), as a compulsory textbook in all the seminaries and academies of the second half of the XIX century.
