The influence of the modernism philosophical and aesthetic thought on the creative ideas of the Western European composers of the XX century

In this article the influence of philosophical and aesthetic thought on the stylistic and creative representations of composers of the ХХ century is examined. The influence of some philosophical works and ideas on the conceptual and stylistic features of the Wagner’s and Strauss’ musical compositions are studied and analyzed. Modernist "reforms" of the art worldview of the XX century are examined, where modernism (in the opinion of many researchers) is identified with the definition of "avant-gardism", which finally leads to a new paradigm of the musical composition perceived in modern times as an undeniable value for worlds culture.
