Peculiarities of psychological adaptation of pregnant women to pregnancy situation

The article presents the findings concerning the investigation of the peculiarities of pregnant women psychological adaptation depending on their motherhood experience (positive, represented by the first child, and negative, represented by noncarrying of pregnancy experience) in the frame of an individual’s life. The main goal of our work was to identify clinical and psychological aspects of adaptation to the situation of pregnancy. The article presents the results of psychological adaptation of pregnant women to the situation of pregnancy. There was made a supposition that the peculiarities of psychological adaptation to pregnancy are influenced by the experience of motherhood.
