Article is devoted to detection of the characteristics allowing to draw a conclusion that the military unit can be considered as organizational system. The author gives an explanation of such concepts as "management", "linear structure", "military organizational structure", etc. In addition, in article the internal variable organizations, parts of organizational system other than an external environment are considered.
