Subject: Remote learning of bank employees at the Financial University: search for new approaches

Modern educational reforms and changing employers’ approach to practical skills of graduates from higher educational institutions make the Financial University take a fresh look at the opportunities that remote, open and distance learning may offer to its students. The article raises the issues of rethinking the role of and approaches currently applied to education of distance students in banking sector, standardization of traineeship, lecturing and fulfillment of practical assignments.
