"The Art of Cinema" magazine (1986-1991): reideologization through the prism of foreign cinematography

During the years of “perestroika”, "The Art of Cinema" magazine was in a liberal position. Its authors abandoned the Soviet ideological approach to the evaluation of works of cinematography, including foreign ones. The new approach led to a change in the attitude toward the ideological content of films, artistic methods and techniques of their creators, methods of production and distribution.
