The article discusses various aspects of the nonlinear development of society. Modeling of social transformations is a priority for the adoption of initially defined prerequisites, which is implemented within the framework of specific local decisions. The social subject is capable not only to display local social alternatives in social transformations and on their basis to construct possible scenarios of social development. At the same time, the social actor is responsible for the existence of preferences, alternatives, accidents that will certainly appear within the framework of a self-organizing, complex social system.
