Main types, technologies of impact on mass consciousness in the world of global Informatization

The article analyzes the main types, as well as some technologies of influ-ence on the mass consciousness in the world of global information. In this regard, the concept of «mass consciousness» is clarified. In the context of global information, mass consciousness can be interpreted as a phenome-non of global mass consciousness and as a phenomenon of mass con-sciousness of a particular society, which is influenced by the factors of global information. Key conclusion of article is that in era of global in-formatization types of impact on mass consciousness can be differentiated into: 1) traditional impact on mass consciousness with using of technolo-gies, typical for pre-information society (agitation, propaganda, etc.), supplemented by some technologies, approbated mainly by mass-media of information society (setting agenda, priming, framing); 2) modern im-pact, typical for post-industrial society, implemented through technolo-gies, improved and developed within framework of computerization, vir-tualization, intellectualization (infotainment, astroterfing, trolling, phish-ing and etc.).
