Features of the relation of the orthodox Russians to the representatives of other religions and its motives

The article describes the results of an empirical study on the identification of the specifics of the relationship of the Orthodox Russians to the representatives of other religions and atheists. It is shown that, by the modality, the relations of a representative of different religions and atheists can be classified into three groups that are qualitatively different from each other. The main motives of positive and negative relation of Orthodox Russians towards subjects practicing different religions are highlighted. The nature of the influence of the power of religious beliefs and communication experience on attitudes towards representatives of other religions and atheists is revealed.
