Development of leadership qualities of students in the process of physical training and sports

In many activities, an important factor for success is the availability of leadership, perseverance, perseverance, the ability to take responsibility and lead a team of like-minded people. Educating students for leadership skills begins with the very first stages of training in university. Sport is a tool that allows to instill, consolidate and develop leadership qualities among students. Therefore sports physical training of students is an important direction of training of qualified specialists during the whole process of their training. The article shows that participation in team sports helps develop students' leadership skills, ability to make quick decisions, take responsibility for their actions and actions of team-mates, contribute to the overall result of the team's activities. The need to develop high moral qualities of youth sports leaders, so that members of the group adopted the socially-oriented behavior of the leader of a team or a group of fans, is also noted in the article. This will positively affect the interaction with other people within the framework of the main professional activity in the latter.
