In this article the author based on the literary analysis conducted a study of theoretical and methodological approaches to the definitions, structure and fundamentals of life choices of man. It is noted that the category under study is one of the fundamental in modern psychology. The author has studied and described in the work the basic complex interrelations between the life choice of the individual and his life situation, orientation, position, as well as the factors influencing the life choice on the life strategy of the person.
